And I would like to know your opinions on the change.

This is how it use to look like:

(Yes, it was pretty messed up. I can't believe that we stuck with that one for so long -although changes were made in between designs, but none of them was that remarkable... with the sole exception of this animated header: http://s26.postimg.cc/3sfc9tb6h/Nuevo_GF.gif -).

You can navigate it thru Web Archive if you are really curious:

https://web.archive.org/web/20141024175246/http://icedragonnet.blogspot.com.ar/

And here's the new one:

It is incredibly generic and yet, somehow, a lot more inviting. We have come a long way in this seven months of IDN (including this painful episode).

Obviously, I'm not trying to make any kind of SPAM (and it will be fine if you want to remove the link) but for the sake of comparison, here's the navigable link of the new version: http://icedragonnet.blogspot.com.ar/

Lately, I have regained my desire to go on with the site, and my STAFF has responded extraordinarily well to this (for which I'm entirely grateful)... sometimes there's so much new material to validate that it takes up all my free time. I wouldn't like it any other way.

Interesting that you chose to put Ren and Stimpy on there with a bunch of female heroines.  Just seems an odd choice.  Other than that I'm not seeing anything crazy.  Your first design had a lot of color clash in that banner and that just gives me headaches to look at things like that.  I'm not having this problem with the new one, though I will say I can't look at that banner for long with the optical illusion effect of going down a tunnel.  Just my two cents on that one, but I have weird eyesight anyway and a crazy prescription. ;)

But I got to ask since you put Gadget front and center.....are you pro Gadget and Chip or pro Gadget and Dale? :D

You know? I thought the same when the Ren and Stimpy banner was presented to me for the first time, but the guy just worked SO hard on that one that I simply couldn't say "no" (well, I also couldn't refuse because there were no other images and we were running low on time :D).

Also... the complaints about headaches were the thing that motivated the re-design in the first place ;)

G + C all the way! :D

Now, one thing that REALLY holds me back is that the dedicated image hosting that we hired for the site went down without any warning, leaving most of our work pictureless. That really destroyed most of our "historical" entries. To tell ya all the truth, we only keep on going with the site to "bury" those old, mauled entries into oblivion (and also because we don't want to give up that easily). I'm really sad when I see that some of those entries have visitors... there's literally nothing to see there :(
