Stephen King wrotes Sorry, wrong author  :p

Yes, that's finally another great episode. The alliance between Woundwort and Cowslip is a nice idea. Fiver's vision of the Black Rabbit of Inlé makes goosebumps.

And we simply don't know, what will happen to Campion. No, this is not a highligt, but another fantastic episode of the series!

Kneel down before the greatness of Darkling's dark ... ... ... Darkness!!!

You wouldn't believe how many times I have visited your site just to freshen my mind on the episodes :P

This episode does a great job developing both Redstone and Cowslip's warren (both of which were kinda neglected prior to this point, even though we knew about them) without having to rely all that much on external assistance... most of the problems dealt with during this episode are settled by rabbits who belonged to each of those warrens, with only occasional aid being thrown there by both WSD and Efrafa (which was a nice detail... those kind of problems work better if solved by those who are directly involved with them).

That said, I LOVE how the power-hungry Cowslip is willing to put himself "under" Woundwort's command just to make the lives of those who fled, all the more miserable -and to put them in immediate danger, which was the only reward he could get at this point-. I really liked that part of the episode and I'm glad to finally see Cowslip at the top of his evil game.

There's a lot of really great moments in this episode, but I'd like to highlight the brief exchange between Campion and Kehaar.

I really appreciate that Kehaar, despite generally being comic relief, is shown to be perceptive and concerned about Campion's state of being here. I like the blink-and-you-miss-it look he has when Campion tells him that he "feels like an alien in his own warren." It's a very small thing, but it gives me the impression that Kehaar is empathizing, being both the only gull on Watership Down and having recently gone back to the big water to find that he doesn't quite fit in with his old friends either. They're an odd match-up of characters, definitely, but I think mixing Kehaar's energy and Campion's stoicism could have made for some more great moments like these.

The only thing I would have changed would be to have Kehaar actually describe the big water properly. I didn't find the joke made with Kehaar's stumbling all that funny and it would have been a really nice moment for both of the characters to engage in a bit of blissful escapism together.

Fiver sees the Black Rabbit of Inle -- yikes!  :inle-series2  :fiver2

Some interesting ideas in this episode, such as crafty Cowslip meeting Woundwort. I can't be more descriptive than that because just a few days ago is already too many for me to remember it. :p

Yay, Moss! :moss

Here lies a signature that has little point.
