Well, I remember the episode well (I fear, I'm too addicted in that case

), but it's simply the worst episode of the series (with "Mysterious Visitors"). The main problem, I have: It would've been amazing, if they didn't produced the filler episodes and had shown us instead two or three flashback-episodes from Sandleford.
I mean, we receive word about the past: That they've left their home Sandleford because it's gone, that Fiver had a vision of Watership Down, that Sandleford was destroyed by men. That Holly and Pimpernell escaped and that Pimpernell died in Cowslip's Warren.
But having a few episodes, SHOWING US what happened, would be great. The first pc-game also started back in Sandleford. I don't know, if they spare that really for the pc-game if they cut it out of the series (maybe because the test-audience didn't like it) and start the official part with the migration to Watership Down.
But I still say: Using a dog to get rid of the sheep is a nice innuendo to the book
