[Lord of the Lough]

As the hazy sun lifted itself up, over Watership Down, not a rabbit stirred. Save one.

(OOC: sorry if this is super short, I had no time and since you guys were complaining about it I decided to create it anyways. Y not. )

OOC: well nobody has responded  so I'll carry on.

BIC: Blue eyes popped out of the sleepy hole atop Watership Down. Luiki, the owner of the pair of inquisitive eyes, popped promptly out of the hole, and gazed up at the orangey yellow sky, at bliss.
"Hello, morning!" He breathed. His eyes closed and he took in a deep breath of the wonderfully chilled, crisp morning air. And, exhale. Everything was peaceful.

Suddenly, with a devilish grin, Luiki readied his voicebox, aiming his mouth at the Honeycomb below, and yelled at the top of voice. "WAKE UP, SLEEPYHEADS!" he sniggered to himself and continued to yell down the tunnel.

OOC: Let's get this show on the road guys!

All this ruckus brought out a big groan out of lungs of wild hare living in the form at the bottom of the hill. She covered her ears with forepaws in vain attempt to block the noise, but no matter how much she tried the rabbit’s voice couldn’t be ignored. Finally, she gave up and rose from her ground nest.

“How is it possible that such a small creature can make so much noise?” she asked equally in astonishment and irritation. She prided herself in her ability to hear a fox sneaking while she was asleep, but right now that was more of a curse than a blessing as the yelling from above continued. Luiki. Of course. Who else would welcome the morning in this manner? Ranger almost prayed that some predator would come and take that annoying rabbit. Wouldn’t that be a win for everybody?

She sighed. “I better go up there and silence him before he does attract a hunter,” she muttered to herself. Life was simpler and more peaceful before she met the rabbits of Watership Down. Then again, it would have been shorter, if they didn’t found her after she had been shot by farmer. That event had left a mark on her hind leg, one that she would have to carry to the end of her days. She could still run, so there was some silver lining.

She climbed swiftly up the slope. With each jump, the screams grew louder, if such thing was even possible. This was starting to put some strain on her ears. She needed to put a stop to this and soon.

Ranger reached the top of the Down and run to entrance to the warren. Luiki was too busy hollering down the hole to notice her. That gave her an idea on how to get back at him for waking her from sweet dreams. Not stopping, she slammed her body against Luiki’s rump, sending him into the Honeycomb...

Taken completely by surprise, Luiki bumped and rolled awkwardly into thr honeycomb, landing flat on his face.
"Ranger," he whined. "Why'd you do that? I was only trying to get everyone up." he smiled innocently at Ranger, and was met with an icy glare. "Look," Luiki said sheepishly. Its already light!" The two looked out at the sky. It was faintly orange. "Anyway, I'm off to do something fun. You lot are so boring sometimes." Luiki hopped out of the burrow before Ranger could utter a single word.

Sunbloom sighed and rolled her eyes as the two rabbits rolled into the Honeycomb...  "Good morning to both of you too, but I don't remember asking for an alarm clock." They seemed not to have heard her, so Sunbloom got up and moved closer. She had, of course, recognized Luiki as the shouter (Who else could possibly be so idiotic?). Ranger's appearance, however, was a small surprise, as she only visited irregularly. "How are you, Ranger? Your leg still hurting?"

Ranger looked at another rabbit who come out of the hole under the birch tree. Sunbloom was much calmer person than Luiki, which (in hare’s opinion) was a point in her favor. They touched noses in greeting.

“Sometimes,” she answered doe’s question, “Not as often as before though.”

She glanced at the orange sky. Luiki was right about one thing: it was already a morning and rather beautiful at that. Since she had been already woken up, she could as well enjoy it.

“If you need any particular herbs, then I could look for them,” she said to Sunbloom. Not a long time ago, she wouldn’t imagine herself to run errands for rabbits, but it was the least she could do in gratitude for their help when she had been injured by human fire-stick.

"Are you going on another one of those adventures of yours?" Sunbloom asked. She relaxed taking in some of the morning air. "Because you could take Luiki with you, I'd appreciate some peace and quiet. And besides some adventure would do him good."

Calm him down, she almost added, but drcided against it. Amongst the warren rabbits she already had the reputation of a grump, with this outsider the least she could do was try and restrain herself.

Hoberum came to the Honeycomb. He said, "Hello".
"Would like somebody to make a sporty adventure took part and the gardens in the surroundings uncertainly?"
One of his friends came to him, to take part at this exiting sporty adventure.

Pricking his ears up at the sound of adventure, Luiki bounced joyfully over to Sunbloom; his fur flapping in the wind.
"Yes, let's!" the young buck said.

As Ranger and Sunbloom explained the full details of the 'adventure' Luiki's once ecstatic expression declined into one of boredom. Once Ranger and Sunbloom had finished, Luiki announced in a dull tone: "I think I'll stay on the down, thanks."

OOC: Sorry fiver, i couldnt understand that :/

"Seems like you'll be going on your own after all, Ranger." said Sunbloom rather disgruntled. "But then again, that's the way you like it, isn't it?"

Sunbloom stretched her legs for a second...Life was good in Watership Down, there was enough flayrah for all and not a peep from any hlessil (not counting that blasted farm cat...but that's another story)

Meanwhile, as Luiki sauntered off through the short grass om the Down he thought to himself.
"I'm not sure why they find me annoying," he said quietly. "Maybe I'm a bit too excited for them." He stopped, scratching his head withhis hind leg, then decided he would be a bit more calm and collected from now on. After coming to this conclusion, he lolloped over to Sunbloom, lay down in the grass, and sighed.
"Wonderful morning, isn't it?"

"Yes, yes it is." Sunbloom decided she may have been a bit cold towards the young rabbit. Maybe I should be a bit nicer to him. I mean I was young as well and remember having energy to spare.
"I think today will be a fine day, don't you?" She said to him trying to keep the conversation going.

"Er, yeh. I guess so anyway." Luiki replied, stuttering. He had never had a decent conversation with anyone before; he was relatively new to socialising in the first place.

After a good few minutes Luiki was bored. He never knew why older rabbits were so relaxed and still when there is a world to explore. Ranger had told him that there are nasty animals out there, and that the land is not all hospitable and friendly. After touching noses with Sunbloom, the black buck went down into the burrow to talk with some other rabbits. After all, maybe he could persuade some rabbits to join him on an adventure to find other warrens; the Down had very few allies.

OOC: Where is Mallow? He requested doing this RP so much and now he's not even participating. That last line was supposed to be a follow up for the plot by the way.

“Seems like he doesn’t like sitting around in one place for long,” Ranger said to Sunbloom, nodding at leaving buck. She could understand that. There was always some new land to be visited, which could be hiding an adventure, so it was very tempting to go off and explore. Yes, very tempting.

“Speaking of which, I think it’s high time I took a longer trip than just to Nuthanger farm. I’ve been pretty much everywhere around the Down and I could use a change of scenery,” she paused for a moment, wondering what destination she should use. “You told me once there are other warrens in direction of high sun. Vile… Vifleen… Vleflain or whatever that place is called. I could go there. Maybe to that other place too, the one called Elfafa.”



OOC: Perhaps he is too busy with something at the moment? We don't always have enough free time to participate in forum life.

Hoberum said: "I go now to the gardens and make the most damage for the humans there. Maybe we want to destroy their gardens. If anyone, apart from my friends wants to follow me, so he could follow us. This would be an great adventure. On the way to the gardens we could sing some very good songs, composed by me."
Hoberum and some of his friends are started the way to the next gardens with many flayrah.

OOC: I mean to steal flayrah from the humans and leave a lot of hraka in their gardens.
