Hello! I've known about this forum for probably a year but was too timid to join (heh). But, you guys seemed nice enough to talk to so I finally decided to make an account rather than lurk every once in a while (heh heh).

Anyway, I hope to get to know you all as fellow Watership Down fans because no one I know here in the U.S. has even heard of it  :( I am a very avid fan myself, and I'm excited to be able to talk to other people about it here. I'm the quiet type, so usually on forums like this I read posts and seldom post myself. I intend to be somewhat active however so I guess we'll see what happens!

In my country (Mexico), I know very few people who know of Watership Down. I wish there were more rabbits also in this forum, but such is life. Little by little by little.

I know the feeling. And then everyone you attempt to introduce to Watership Down either dismisses it as a trivial bunny story or is repelled by the five minutes of gore at the very end of the movie. It's a struggle. Oh, well. Their loss. That's why I'm here!

It's  a shame because I live in the US and I saw the film back when I was 10 and read the book a few years later, and have  been a fan ever since :). Welcome to the board!
