My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

I'm not into media, and I don't even watch this show often. However, I do like it. Why? It teaches me. Honestly, the episodes (or at least the ones I've seen...and that's not too many) bring inspiration and add to my perspective.

My teacher told me the mark of a true scholar is someone who can take anything and learn from it. I think I'm on my way :D

I also like the idea of a show that's free from much of the...um, stuff we encounter too far often in the real world today.

Again, I don't know too much about MLP:FiM, but if I'm willing to make a thread about it, shows I actually care to some degree ;)

Your teacher is a brony (term used for men who like the series). I'm a fan of the series and have to say that is very good, there is quality in the animation, music, characters, songs, etc ..
Currently, I do not see much, but I recommend it for those who like even animations =)
My favorite pony is Lyra H.   :fiver
I love Watership Down!

Everything is fine =) (?)

I'm not a MLP-fan and probably will never be. Some other members neither.

I mean, I'm a tolerant person and I never would say something against this thread, but I fear, you won't find many supporters here in Fiver's Honeycomb.

But don't be sad, we have other great places here for discussion  :kehaar

I used to like the show... that until I started to realize that it was turning people into hating-machines (seriously, I have had some friends that wouldn't either shut up about it or let you trash it in any way, shape, or form... it was dreadful). But when I did like it, I liked it very much... it made me smile and it taught me some lessons that I was needing to learn :P

Also, the music for this show ROCKS.

In my personal, obnoxious and twisted brain I am screaming this.

Yet, I can understand why one might enjoy a series such as this, but I am baffled as to why grown men enjoy watching this as a daily routine thing, but that's just my opinion. To be brutally honest it makes me feel like these men might be mentally challenged (having very little idea of what goes on during the show I am awfully sorry if I have offended anyone.) or quite possibly depressed and looking for a source of childish happiness and play to bring back into their lives. From what I have seen of the show it seems like an entertaining way of showing kids what is right and what is wrong through ponies; from what I tell is what most young girls (and some boys) can be obsessed with. Again, I am sorry if I have offended anyone. I am now off to rant about Alpha and Omega and it's wasted opportunities. :p

What? Now that seems a bit too far. And I agree. I like the music :D
