Alpha and Omega

I must say that when I watched the very first Alpha and Omega movie, I thought it was a good film. Yes, I did like the plotline a lot and I thought that incorporating the true nature of survival and reproduction into a kids movie could have gone very badly, but I reckon they pulled it off. The smart innuendos that weren't too obvious were actually funny, and not just a reason for the adults to sit down and watch the movie with their kids. My favourite example was when Kate and Humphrey were told that they had to create a new pack Humphrey's mouth fell open. Not too obscene and out of place but just enough to make the parents smirk while their children carried on viewing without taking any notice of it. The animation overall was acceptable for a kids movie and the characters developed over time to create a touching ending, that I must say brought a tear out. Sadly, I think this was the best movie out of the four (yes, four!) that followed after it. And yes, three more have been confirmed.

Hey, I might do the other movies as well, if you guys like it. Only a short review and my first ever; thinking of setting up a website maybe to do more if deemed acceptable.

I gotta admit that I have only seen this movie because it was on ALL THE TIME around last Christmas -alongside with another one called "The Naughty List"-. And that I also failed to see the whole appeal of the flick in general (although, I did appreciate the amount of effort put into it... particularly the animation, which was almost spotless -except for the fur part, that went kinda wrong-). I don't know, I guess that it was a good flick overall, but I couldn't find any reason to try to improve my opinion on it thru a second watch.

The best movie of alpha and omega was the first. The fourth and the fifth was better than two or three

I tried watching it and was immediately put off by the style of it. I couldn't get on with it. It was a shame because when I saw the trailer before it came out I thought it looked good.

Something similar happened to me with the movie "the nut job" and another second movie of the same company. At the beginning the movie begins well and then everything falls apart in action totally absurd, wanting to imitate the style of Disney and Dreamswork, but failing miserably.

Well, seeing for it was, I did not mind. It was not perfect of course, but it was still good-ish for it was unique than most animated films including The Nut Job. It could have been better yet it could have been worse.
