Kehaar's Zero Access Panel
« on: November 08, 2015, 10:39:30 AM »
You may have noticed, that I've reworked Kehaar's ZAP.

In my humble opinion, it looks good and the forum doesn't look so unclear anymore.

But that's just the unimportant opinion of a bat :darkling . What do the other members think? What can be optimized? Or is it good as it is now?

I didn't notice it had been reworked until I saw this topic.

I prefer this new version as there is more information provided on each link.  However, I find the panel to be easy to overlook as it is hidden by default.

I agree with Chipster-roo, and it also looks neater and cleaner. Very nice design, other than the problem of the Panel being closed by default. It's easier to find what you're looking for, too.

To be honest, I don't even remember what it used to look like. The new design is good, though! Thanks, you all, for working hard for the forum.

Alright, I've merged Kehaar's ZAP and Hannah's TRs, designed it more compact and removed the headings.

Admitted, you can't see now, that Kehaar is in charge. But I think, it looks now more compact and gives more space for the forum itself.

I think it's much better with these recent changes.

Thank you, Chipster-roo :)

I also reworked the menu a bit and removed unnecessary java-scripts. Unfortunately, I had to move the menu below the breadcrumbs.

I like the change. It's nice that we don't have to click to see any additional panels :)

Thank you :) I'm also happy with this new version. It looks compact, shows all important things and the best thing: It works in all browsers without any unnecessary scripts. :)

Did a slight revision. Better or not? :)

Yes. So, people can decide if they want to use the forum or if they want to contact us directly. I've defended the old version, but I'm adaptive :D

Alright, you've seen, that I've done some changes on the top menu.

What do you think about it? I prefer to have the top menu as part of Kehaar's ZAP, because it saves us space.

By the "top menu" I assume you mean "Search the Burrows, The Warren Rabbits, etc."?

I'm not really sure it actually saves space, as before I found it extremely easy to overlook.  Now, these items can be noticed easily, so it's better.
